CARERS TOGETHER GROUP

Carers meet to share their concerns, offer support to each other and discover ways and resources to solve problems. Carers include anyone who is a paid carer or who voluntarily cares for a family member or friend. Without self-care, the increased demands on a carer take their toll. The group is also helpful to those who want to have that difficult conversation with a parent or partner about needing extra care or those who want to support family members who are care-giving a loved one here or hundreds of miles away.  The sessions alternate monthly between education topics and personal discussions.
