Quadra Circle’s transportation program is committed to providing seniors with the necessary support they need to lead independent and fulfilling lives.
We understand the transportation challenges seniors face and, as such, have created a program designed specifically to meet the unique needs of older adults.
So if you’re looking for a reliable and safe transportation service, look no further than Quadra Circle.
What is the Transportation Program?
It’s a FREE SERVICE to provide people with a volunteer to drive them where they need to go on Quadra, and in Campbell River or Courtenay. All drivers are fully insured and have completed a Criminal Record Check.

Who is eligible?
The service is available to Quadra Islanders who are seniors, frail, disabled, chronically, physically or mentally unwell, or recovering from illness or surgery, and who need help to get to medical appointments, laboratories or hospitals, to go grocery shopping, to attend therapy/personal care appointments or community events or meet with a friend. (Therapy includes yoga and exercise classes, massage, acupuncture, chiropractic, physiotherapy, etc. Personal care includes foot care, and dental and hair appointments etc.)
How do I book a ride?
You simply call Kelly Beamish at the contact info listed below and request a driver when needed. Please give a minimum of 48 hours notice for a driver to be arranged. If leaving a voicemail message, please give the date, time, and location for which you need a driver. Please also be aware that this is a volunteer service and a driver might not always be available.
