Healthy eating is a key part of aging well. It is a way for you to stay healthy and strong, which is important to maintain your independence and quality of life.

Healthy eating can help:

  • promote and protect health and well-being

  • provide energy and essential nutrients to maintain health

  • prevent or lower the risk of chronic diseases like:

    • heart disease

    • type 2 diabetes

  • prevent muscle and bone loss to reduce your risk of falling or breaking your bones

Quadra Circle serves affordable healthy meals for seniors in a positive, social environment at the Senior Activity Centre every week.

COFFEE/SOCIAL

DROP IN

If you're not interested in games, talks or exercises just come on down for a coffee or tea and have a visit!  We offer a variety of hot drinks and snacks.

DROP-IN, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at the Legion 10 am- Noon

LIGHT LUNCH

DROP IN

Every Monday, Wednesday  and Friday we offer a light lunch by donation (suggested donation of $5) at the Seniors Activity Centre in the Legion.  Our light lunches are prepared by a cook with help from a group of local volunteers.  We serve a buffet style healthy lunch and ask that everyone remembers to practice good hygiene by washing/sanitizing their hands before lunch and using the serving utensils provided to fill your plate. 

Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at the Legion Noon-1PM.
